The Panarion of Epiphanius: The 4th-century bishop Epiphanius, in his work Panarion (30:16), recorded the Ebionite claim that Paul was not a Hebrew or a Pharisee by birth.
The “Grecian” Infiltrator: They stated that Paul was a Greek (a term often used for Hellenized Edomites) who went up to Jerusalem, stayed for a time, and desired to marry the daughter of the High Priest.
The Motive of Spite: When he was rejected by the Priesthood, he allegedly “wrote against circumcision, and the Sabbath, and the Law” out of spite. This historical account suggests he fabricated a “Jewish” background (claiming the Tribe of Benjamin) to gain the trust of the followers he intended to subvert.
The name Costobarus (Saulus’s brother in historical records) is a definitive Edomite marker. It is derived from Qos (the national god of the Edomites). Josephus notes that the grandfather of this Saulus was also named Costobarus, an Idumean who was appointed governor of Idumea by Herod the Great. Saul’s intimate connection to a family carrying the name of an Edomite deity proves his roots were in the lineage of Esau, not the lineage of Jacob.
Through the study of Paul’s own words and the records, there is not one doubt that Paul is no less than half Edomite. Perhaps he is one hundred percent Edomite, but at the very least he has to be half! Now that we have fully verified the what Saul is, we will carry on forward with how this unfolds. The Edomite interlopers (including Saul) were the children of Satan performing the will of Satan, just as the Followers of the Way were the children of Yahavah, performing the will of Yahavah.
Yahavah seen the hostile takeover of His capital city, and His Holy Temple, He realized that He could not leave the extraction of His children in their own hands, and so He came in the flesh to rescue them out of the vipers den! Like wise the devil seen he could not leave the destruction of Yahavah’s children in the hands of his children, and so right after Yashava was crucified and resurrected he came in the flesh to personally take control. That is exactly when it turned from violent warfare against Yahavah’s children to infiltration to conquer. As is witnessed by Yashava’s warnings.
