This battle has been raging on ever since the creation of Christianity, and for the most part Christianity has vehemently upheld the Sunday Sabbath, and considered any group that follows the Scriptural Saturday Sabbath as lost souls. The Jews and some Christian sects strongly defend the Seventh day Saturday Sabbath, and consider those who follow the Sunday Sabbath as Lost Souls. However, the unadulterated raw truth of the matter is that Both Sides Are Absolutely Correct!
It has absolutely nothing to do with one side being correct, and one side being wrong. It has everything to do with who you are a child of, and who do you hear. If you are a child of Yahavah (The Eternal) you will naturally hear His voice and follow Him. If you are a child of Satan, you will naturally hear his voice and follow him. Fortunately during this time of probation we can change families if we so desire. Once probation ends, then the family that we have chosen is for eternity! The following verses confirm the above information with the Direct Living Word of Yahavah!
Matthew 6:24, KJV (Yashava)
24. “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other….”
John 10:27 KJV (Yashava)
27. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
John 8:47 KJV (Yashava)
47. “He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.”
So, now that we have the absolute truth of what this battle is really about set in stone by the very Living Word of Yahavah, we will now demonstrate by scripture itself which side is hearing the voice of Yahavah, and which side is actually following the voice of His adversary. We will begin by listing the Fourth of the Ten Commandments of the Holy Covenant of Yahavah!
Exodus 20:8-11 KJV (Yahavah)
8. “Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But on the Seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.”
If you will notice, in the Fourth Commandment of the Holy Covenant, Yahavah invokes us to remember (Never Forget) and do the Seventh Day Sabbath to keep it Holy. Then He specifically identifies the Seventh Day of the Week (Saturday) as His Holy Sabbath. Not mans, and not even the Jews Sabbath, But His Holy Sabbath, and HIS ALONE! He then blessed His Sabbath, and hallowed it. When He is telling us to Remember His Holy Seventh Day Sabbath, He is instructing His children to Honor and celebrate His set apart Holy Day with Him on His Sabbath!
Exodus 31:16&17 KJV (Yahavah)
16. “Whereas the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a PERPETUAL COVENANT. IT IS A SIGN BETWEEN ME AND THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL FOREVER: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.”

In verse 17 from the original Hebrew, the word sign can be just as correctly translated to the English as the word ‘Mark’. Therefore Yahavah is telling us that His Sabbath is a Sign/Mark that identifies us as His children. Then He informs us that it is for a PERPETUAL (ON GOING FOREVER) COVENANT! Then He expands the sign/mark that identifies us to Him.
Exodus 31:13 KJV (Yahavah)
13. “Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, verily my Sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign (MARK) BETWEEN ME AND YOU THROUGHOUT YOUR GENERATIONS: THAT YE MAY KNOW THAT I AM THE LORD THAT DOTH SANCTIFY YOU.”
Some people will attempt to get around this expansion by claiming that it is simply referring to the multiple weekly Sabbaths. However, this is untrue because He never refers to His weekly Sabbath as a plural event. It is always referred to as a single event as a whole. Then again in Ezekiel we find Him confirming the plural of all of His Sabbaths again.
Ezekiel 20:20 KJV (Yahavah)
20. “And hallow my Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign (Mark) between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.”
Both verses in Ezekiel show a plurality of Sabbaths as a sign/Mark, but verse twenty absolutely identified it as a plurality by stating “they” shall be a sign. So, we can now honestly state that Yahavah identifies His children as the ones who are keeping His Holy Day Sabbaths for a perpetual covenant. Does Yahavah’s adversary have a sign/Mark that identifies His children, and does that Mark separate His followers from Yahavah’s followers?
Historical Records and Proof
The Catholic Record (London, Ontario) In the September 1, 1923 edition:
“Sunday is our Mark of authority…..The church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.”

Letter from C.F. Thomas (Chancellor to Cardinal Gibbons In a letter dated October 28,1895,:
“Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change was her act…..And the Act is a MARK of her ecclesiastical power and authority in religious matters.”

The Catholic Mirror (Official Organ of Cardinal Gibbons) From September 23, 1893 edition:
“The Catholic Church…..by virtue of her divine mission, changed the day from Saturday to Sunday. The Protestant world at its birth found the Christian Sabbath {Sunday} too strongly entrenched to run counter to its existence; it was therefore placed under the necessity of acquiescing in the arrangement, thus excepting the church’s right to change the day, for over three hundred years.”

The Eternal Yahavah created a sign/Mark to identify His Children, and as we can clearly see, the Roman Catholic Christian Mother Church openly admits that she eliminated our creators Mark, and established her own Mark which identifies her followers separate from Yahavah’s followers. Considering Yahavah’s Mark was for a perpetual Covenant throughout the generations, then His Mark stands for all time to those who hear His voice!
Christianity has not only eliminated Yahavah’s Mark from their faith, she also eliminated each and every one of His Holy Days (Annual Sabbaths) and replaced them with her own holidays of pagan origin, and then declared that we are to no longer follow Yahavah’s Holy Covenant Laws! She has openly and boldly shown everyone that she stands in direct opposition to Yahavah! So, once again, as the Living Word of Yahavah has shown us, it is not a matter of who is correct or who is wrong. It is simply a matter of who you choose to follow, and where you will ultimately wind up. You do not need to believe me, But you might really want to consider believing Yahavah!
Jeremiah 17:5 KJV (Yahavah)
5. “Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.”
In this life we have the ability to successfully hide among those who desire to believe as we believe. However, when we stand before the Judgement, we will no longer have anyone to hide behind! We will then be forced to stand alone, and face the one who gave us His instruction manual. Then our words will be compared with His words against our actions! Did you hear Him, or were you listening to His adversary?
We cannot change our Past, but where do you desire to spend all of your tomorrows?
